I liken relationships to the game of poker.
We’re all dealt hands and it’s up to us which hands we decide to play.
Some relationships we have are like a pair Jacks. Not so good, but we’re happy to hold’em.
Other relationships are like a 6-10 straight. Nice, but it’s still not the best hand we could have.
Then sometimes we get sucked into playing 7 high. Fuck.
Then..if you’re lucky.. you get the mother-load.
All I’m missing is the Queen to my straight flush. but regardless of whether I win or lose, I’ve decided I’m going all in on this hand.. =]
